LaunchCRM Inc. ("LaunchCRM," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in connection with our Salesforce consulting, implementation, development, and training services. It applies to information collected through our website, through client engagements, and through any other means by which you interact with us.
We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), applicable provincial privacy legislation, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information — name, email address, phone number, job title, and company name provided when you contact us, complete a form, or request a consultation.
- Project and engagement data — information shared during the course of a consulting engagement, including business processes, requirements, and data relevant to your Salesforce environment.
- Salesforce org access — during implementation and support engagements, we may be granted administrative access to your Salesforce organization. Data accessed within your org remains your property at all times.
- Website usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs collected automatically through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
- Communications — records of correspondence including emails, meeting notes, and support tickets.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To deliver Salesforce consulting, implementation, development, and training services under a signed Statement of Work or service agreement.
- To respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls or consultations.
- To send project updates, invoices, and service-related communications.
- To send marketing communications about our services, where you have provided express or implied consent in accordance with CASL.
- To improve our website and service offerings using aggregated, anonymized analytics data.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Salesforce Data & Client Confidentiality
As a Salesforce consulting partner, our team may access your Salesforce organization to perform configuration, development, data migration, or support work. The following terms govern that access:
- All data within your Salesforce org belongs exclusively to you. We do not copy, store, or retain any client Salesforce data beyond what is strictly necessary to complete the work described in your Statement of Work.
- Access credentials are treated as confidential and are not shared with any third party.
- Upon completion or termination of an engagement, we promptly remove our user accounts and access from your org unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Any data migration work is performed in accordance with your written instructions and Salesforce's data processing terms.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our business (e.g., accounting software, email platforms, project management tools), subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Salesforce — as a registered Salesforce Partner, we operate within the Salesforce Partner Program and are subject to Salesforce's partner policies. We may share aggregated, non-identifiable project information with Salesforce for partner reporting purposes.
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Consent & Marketing Communications
We will only send commercial electronic messages (newsletters, service announcements, promotional offers) where we have obtained your express or implied consent as required under CASL. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or by contacting us at info@launchcrm.ca.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain records required for tax and legal compliance, and as required by applicable law. Client project records are typically retained for seven (7) years following the close of an engagement. Marketing contact records are retained until consent is withdrawn.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted communications, access controls, and confidentiality agreements with all staff and contractors. While we take these precautions seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw consent to certain uses of your information, subject to legal and contractual limitations.
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
